DT Communicator is a business VoIP softphone provisioned by your organisation's service provider. This page describes what information the app handles.

Information we handle
- Account information -- your display name, extension number, and SIP credentials, provided by your service provider during setup.
- Contacts -- the app reads your phone's contacts to display them within the app. This stays on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.
- Favourites -- contacts you mark as favourites are saved to your organisation's phone system so they sync across your devices.
- Call audio -- when you make or receive a call, audio is transmitted to your organisation's phone system to carry the call, the same as any phone call.
- Push notification token -- a device identifier is sent to your organisation's phone system so incoming calls can reach you when the app isn't open.
What we don't do
- We do not access your device location.
- We do not sell or share your information with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
- All data described above is sent only to your own organisation's phone system (the service provider who set up the app for you), not to us or any other party.
Data retention and deletion
Your account data is controlled by your organisation's service provider. To request deletion of your data, contact your service provider directly.
